Social media has changed how people communicate with friends, family, and community. Today's society uses social media to share personal and professional experiences through images, videos, text, and sound clips, which can be a favorite song. Social media has changed the way we express ourselves in society. For example, a photo or well-designed flyer can call out police brutality against the minority, address violence against women in India, and use platforms like YouTube for academic tutorials and LinkedIn for professional networking and showcasing academic qualifications and achievements.

However, today, through portrait videos, marketing teams use social media to advertise their services and products. Social media is combining other tools like Facebook Market to monetize the platform and define it as a one-stop place for gaming, entertainment, communication, and educational information. Social media is also opening more opportunities for the content creator economy, a term that refers to the growing trend of individuals making a living by creating and sharing content on social media platforms. This can include anything from vlogs and tutorials to product reviews and entertainment. One of the most significant drawbacks of using social media is misinformation and disinformation since the news source is not easily verified. Misinformation from social media threatens established democratic institutions, especially in election years, where deep fake content can be used to lure undecided voters.

Therefore, technological advancement is still evolving, which means it is still affecting our social culture. So far, people prefer texting to in-person communication.
